Itchy Fingers...

I still can't knit. Or do much of anything else. I am, however, getting much better at typing nine-fingered.

I am so desperate to do *something* with my hands. I hate just sitting there if the T.V. is on. I tried to knit the other night, but after about 10 or 12 stitches I had to admit that I just couldn't do it. So last night while A. was out with some of the guys from work, I spent an ungodly amount of time surfing the net. Wasting time. Even that got old and I gave up and went to bed. Boo hoo!!

If I take the splint off my finger I have a lot more mobility and I might actually be able to use it and I *might* be able to knit. But there is always the risk I will bang it into something and be reduced to a screaming, swearing mess. (Not that I really swear anymore with two young boys in the house...the worse it gets is "Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!") So, do I take a chance and take the splint off while my finger is still so sore and tender, or do I wait a while longer for the worst to be over and risk wasting away to nothing from lack of knitting? Such a dilemma.
