In Like a Lion Knit Dishcloth Pattern
March comes In Like a Lion and goes Out Like a Lamb. This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a lion with a majestic mane. It pairs beautifully with my free pattern: Out Like a Lamb. These two cloths are both designed similarly, in that I did not use my usual garter stitch technique, but reverse stockinette stitch.
The design is not symmetrical, so some adjustments need to be made for lefty knitters if it matters which way the lion is facing.
As mentioned, this cloth is different than my others. For those of you familiar with my garter stitch technique of every-other design rows, please note that this cloth is reverse stockinette on a stockinette background. The cloth requires careful attention to the pattern as every row is a design row. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
