Quail or Partridge Knit Dishcloth Pattern
This cute little bird looks ready to scurry away! This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a quail in profile facing to the right. He has the distinctive curl of feather on top of his head that quails are known for. Quails are very similar to partridges and this pattern does double duty! If you wish to knit a picture of a partridge, simply leave the feather out of the design.
The design is not symmetrical so adjustments may need to be made for lefty knitters.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
