For the beach lover! This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a scallop shell. It is easily recognizable by the shape and the lines on the shell. It is an "outline" design, meaning the picture is not solid, but looks as if he has been drawn on the cloth.
The design is symmetrical, so no adjustments need to be made for lefty knitters.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
